Job summary

AutoNation seeks a Retail Operations Development Manager to partner with Market and Store leadership to drive improved Variable Operations results through in-store management development and process execution.

The role involves coaching GMs and Sales Managers, analyzing market data, and coordinating with HR and Market teams to schedule process improvements and pilot programs. Travel is substantial, with a 50% travel expectation.

Qualifications

• 5 years automotive retail experience.
• 2 years automotive sales management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store visits with GMs and Sales Managers to improve results through better process execution and action plans.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities and prioritize workload for maximum impact.
• Develop leaders, coaches, and managers among store teams to drive performance.
• Collaborate with Phone and eCommerce Teams to optimize staffing and processes.
• Support Market and HQ teams in turnover reduction, productivity, CSI, and market share goals.
• Lead market meetings to share results, workshop improvements and best practices.
