Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Associate in New York to support stock movement, shipping and receiving, and merchandising according to planograms. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, print signage, handle cash, and assist with store operations to deliver a great customer experience.

The role requires customer-service focus, teamwork, and the ability to work in a loud environment, including weekends and evenings. We offer strong benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a loud environment.
• Customer service mindset and ability to collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Additional duties as assigned.
