Job summary

KC Current is seeking part-time Retail Associates to supervise merchandise operations and support an energetic, guest‑focused store environment at the venue. You will work with Retail Operations to manage staff, ensure smooth opening/closing, and maintain display standards.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, effective communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Weekend/evening shifts are required, with a welcoming, fan‑facing atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of the team’s retail merchandise operation.
• Collaborate with Manager, Retail Operations in managing Retail Associates.
• Open and close retail locations as needed.
• Handle customer needs and resolve problems with customer interests in mind.
• Assist in customer purchasing and create an innovative shopping experience.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a welcoming manner.
• Process purchases through the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and taking down merchandise displays.
• Assist in inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Assist in training new Retail Associates.
• Set up pre-game and breakdown post-game retail stores.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you do?

• Supervise the execution of the team’s retail merchandise operation
• Collaborate with Manager, Retail Operations in the management of Retail Associates
• Open and close retail locations as needed
• Handle customer needs. Work to resolve problems while considering customer needs and company interests.
• Assist in customer’s purchasing needs while creating an innovative shopping experience
• Provide outstanding customer service in a welcoming manner and responds appropriately to customer’s questions/requests
• Process purchases through the POS system
• Assist in setting up and taking down merchandise displays
• Assist in inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
• Assist in the training of new Retail Associates
• Set-up pre-game and breakdown post-game retail stores
• Maintain merchandising standards and cleanliness of store/stands
• Other duties as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

Required

• Retail Sales Experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a priority on excellent customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable being responsible for and handling retail purchase transactions
• Professional appearance and presentation

Preferred

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Bilingual Preferred

Special requirements of the Job:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays.
• Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move around the venue for extended periods of time, often during events or facility setup and breakdown.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed for event setup, equipment management, or assisting with operational needs.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, and reaching overhead to handle various tasks related to facility management, equipment, and event preparation.
• Must be capable of working in physically demanding environments, including navigating stairs, ramps, and elevated platforms during venue conversions.
• Ability to work outdoors continuously for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
