Job summary

Longbridge Financial in Houston is seeking a Retail Operations Specialist to join our in-office team in Houston, TX or Paramus, NJ. This full-time role supports loan processing across teams, ensuring timely processing and exceptional service while coverage is provided during co-worker absences.

You will handle applications, work with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and title companies, analyze income and documents, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process applications for submission to underwriting.
• Work with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, AMCs and title companies.
• Work with third parties to obtain conditions.
• Scanning and uploading file documentation into LOS.
• Clear loan conditions with applicants and communicating with loan officers.
• Analyze Credit, income, tax returns and asset documents.
• File follow-up and notation in accordance with policy.
• Ensure confidentiality of client files.
• Provide coverage in Retail Operations and related departments, helping to ensure continuity and consistency in service.
• Provide functional support as needed, adjusting priorities to meet fluctuating workloads and departmental requirements.
• Respond proactively to varying business demands by assisting multiple teams and helping maintain service and productivity standards.
• Other duties and/or mortgage or company related tasks as assigned by management

The Retail Operations Specialist is a newly created role and is a great opportunity to start your career in the mortgage industry and join one of the top mortgage companies, Longbridge Financial. You will have the opportunity to support various teams by managing a diverse portfolio of loan files, ensuring timely and accurate processing while maintaining exceptional service levels. Additionally, you will provide coverage when co-workers are out of the office, process the of overflow loans and other duties and/or mortgage or company related tasks as assigned by management.

Please note that there are two positions available in the Houston, TX office and / or in the Paramus, NJ office.

Primary Job Duties:

• Process applications for submission to underwriting
