Job summary

HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a role focused on receiving and merchandising standards to keep the store running smoothly. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers, and help team members deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

The position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Prior retail and some leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directions.
• Team-oriented with ability to work with peers and supervisors.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership role.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to keep store organized.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and assist customers.
• Orchestrate truck deliveries and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and coded.
• Maintain backroom organization and stock rotation.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and loss-prevention standards.
• Communicate progress and priorities with management.
