Job summary

Guitar Center in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, and merchandising merchandise according to planograms and promotions. You will drive EBITDA and sales, train staff, manage inventory and loss prevention, and uphold a culture of integrity and music passion.

A 3+ year retail or warehouse background, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or warehouse experience
• Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, and merchandising.
• Ensure merchandise is presented according to planograms and promotions.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Participate in training and development of operations staff.
• Oversee shipping/receiving of gear and store-related items.
• Maintain warehouse organization and facility upkeep.
• Conduct inventory integrity audits and loss prevention efforts.
• Drive sales and act in manager-in-charge when needed.
• Open and close the store as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
