What is this role?

We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead the execution of new retailer onboarding, manage ongoing retail partner projects, and ensure seamless order and inventory management. This individual will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and our retail partners, ensuring alignment and execution of launches, product refreshes, and feature programs with precision and efficiency.

What does an average day look like?

1. Driving Results: Lead planning and execution of all Retail Launch, Product Refresh, and Promotional Feature projects. Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables for retail initiatives. Monitor and track key performance indicators across retail operations.
2. Taking Ownership: Oversee day-to-day operational support and project management for key retail accounts. Ensure execution of packaging, palletizing, and compliance with all retailer-specific requirements.
3. Making Decisions: Work closely with Production Planning to ensure accurate demand forecasting and fulfillment. Use data to guide procurement, production, and shipping decisions.
4. Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Logistics teams. Serve as the operational point of contact for key retail partners.
5. Instilling Trust: Uphold operational standards and consistently meet OTIF (On Time In Full) compliance metrics. Maintain accurate and timely EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and documentation.
6. Customer Focus: Deliver an exceptional experience to our retail partners through proactive communication and problem-solving. Support retail transaction management, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.

What background should you have?

1. 3+ years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, or related management roles
2. Experience working with large consumer product retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, etc.)
3. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives
4. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Sheets
5. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
6. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
