Make a difference as a Retail Operations Manager

As the Full-Time Retail Operations Manager at Strong Spas, you will play a pivotal role in supervising daily operations across multiple retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that employees collaborate effectively, driving sales while maintaining an exceptional shopping environment. You will train the sales staff on the sales process, water chemistry, and product knowledge, ensuring they embody the company's image standards, including dress code and personal grooming. Your expertise will enable you to oversee daily operations, schedule shifts-including for trade shows-and collaborate with the Marketing team to identify new promotional opportunities. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with safety standards, and produce accurate sales reports to track key performance indicators.

With oversight of inventory accuracy and the responsibility for supporting several locations, your leadership will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and fostering a dedicated team.

Requirements for this Retail Operations Manager job

To excel as the Full-Time Retail Operations Manager at Strong Spas, candidates must possess a robust skill set and relevant experience. Proven experience in a Retail Operations Manager or similar role is essential, demonstrating effective communication and leadership capabilities necessary for guiding a diverse team. A strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management is critical, along with familiarity with retail software and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Candidates should also have knowledge of supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations.

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, candidates with at least five years of substantial retail management experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, effectively managing multiple retail locations to drive sales and maintain high standards of service.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Qualifications: Proven experience in Retail Operations Manager or similar role; effective communication and leadership skills; knowledge of inventory management, supply chain and logistics; familiarity with retail software and POS; strong understanding of retail operations and merchandising


• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; or 5 years retail management experience
