Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is opening a new Paducah store and seeks a Retail Manager - Operations to oversee front and back of house functions. You will manage cashiers, customer service, receiving, inventory, pricing, and staff development to ensure a superior shopping experience.

Required is 3–5 years in retail management with strong leadership and data-driven decision skills; familiarity with POS/inventory systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in Retail Management with responsibility for one or more departments.
• Ability to lead, train, and coach staff to deliver world-class customer service.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory/POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end (cashiers and customer service) and back end (inventory/receiving) operations.
• Maintain planograms, pricing, and merchandise presentation per corporate standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; develop weekly schedules and performance reviews.
• Drive sales plans, club programs, and customer experience initiatives.
