Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, driven Retail Operations Manager to lead daily operations across our growing boutique party store locations. This is not a desk job — it’s a working manager role where you'll be actively involved in supporting your team, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer experiences.

We are an ambitious, scaling business with exciting plans for growth, and we’re looking for high-energy individuals who want to grow with us. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a strong leader, and someone who’s just as comfortable managing staff and vendors as they are helping a customer or preparing a delivery themselves.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Staffing
  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff across multiple store locations.
  • Actively participate in daily operations and lead by example on the floor.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and step in as needed to fill operational gaps.
Store Operations
  • Stage stores to reflect seasonal and promotional priorities.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations, including customer service, sales, and restocking.
  • Delegate and follow up on tasks, especially during “OFF” days.
Inventory & Vendor Management
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management (physical and online).
  • Place and track helium and supply orders; manage vendor relationships.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock availability.
Fulfillment & Logistics
  • Supervise and assist with fulfillment for deliveries, pickups, and shipping.
  • Ensure smooth execution of orders, including large and time-sensitive requests.
Customer Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including corporate accounts.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Ensure exceptional service standards are upheld in every interaction.
Ad-Hoc & Emergency Response
  • Remain responsive and flexible for last-minute needs or disruptions, including:
  • Staff shortages
  • Helium/product shortages
  • Delivery issues
  • Be available on "OFF" days for emergencies and/or high-priority tasks.
Reporting & Communication
  • Provide regular reports and updates to corporate as requested.
  • Monitor store and team performance, offering suggestions for improvement.
Sample Work Schedule:
  • Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday – Tuesday: OFF (on call)
  • Wednesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Note: Flexibility is essential. Manager may be called in outside these hours for urgent needs. Typical work week is 40-50 hours.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between store locations.
  • Experience with inventory/POS systems and vendor coordination a plus but not required
  • 2+ years in a retail, operations, or store management role a plus but not required
