Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Supervisor, Retail Operations to lead and mentor store associates, including those facing barriers to employment. You will oversee training, scheduling, and performance management across store operations, merchandising, and donation center logistics.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, coordinating care plans with counseling services, and ensuring safety, customer service, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Three years' experience in training, education, or business settings including retail or customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and bend/twist as needed.
• Strong customer service and ability to engage diverse demographics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 12-25 store associates with various barriers to employment.
• Schedule and coordinate plan of care with Development Counseling Services.
• Implement behavior management techniques to drive performance and de-escalation.
• Manage store associate training program including scheduling, time management and soft skills.
• Lead teams in retail sales, merchandising, and donation center logistics.
• Balance advanced skills training with operational needs for store associates.
• Coordinate vocational plans with Development Counseling Services.
• Maintain confidential database of work and productivity for associates.
