Columbus Hospitality Management's World Equestrian Center Ocala unit is seeking a Retail Supervisor for Mr. Pickles & Sailor Bear Toy Shoppe to lead daily store operations and drive sales.

You will train associates, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience for guests of all ages. This role emphasizes strong leadership, teamwork, and adherence to brand standards in a dynamic arena venue setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and sales ability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Patience and comfort engaging with guests of all ages, including children.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in achieving sales goals while maintaining a safe, clean, and visually appealing retail environment.
• Deliver warm, engaging service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages.
• Support merchandising efforts by ensuring displays are well-stocked, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
• Monitor team performance, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing training and coaching to retail associates.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and confidence, ensuring positive guest relations.
• Motivate team members and cultivate a healthy, competitive environment that drives results.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records to support operational integrity.
• Oversee cycle counts and receiving processes, ensuring shipments are verified and documented appropriately.
• Fulfill phone and online orders promptly and accurately, maintaining high service standards.
• Enforce adherence to SOPs and company-wide retail policies.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively within the established chain of command.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to support overall store success.
