Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. is seeking a capable supervisor to assist the unit manager in daily retail operations at SDSU. The role focuses on staff coordination, scheduling, and service quality to promote teamwork and efficient operation.

You will help train crew leads, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to safety and policy standards while striving for high customer satisfaction and product quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED; at least one year of supervisory experience in mid/high volume retail.
• An Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Food Handler certificate from County of San Diego is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit manager with operations staff, hiring and disciplining employees, setting work priorities, and directing tasks.
• Prepare daily sales reports and adjust staffing and inventory based on sales volume.
• Plan and assign work schedules and duties to employees; supervise training and merchandising activities.
• Resolve customer issues, supervise cash handling and keep accurate records; ensure compliance with policies.
