Dollar General in Erie, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist the Store Manager with supervision of staff, merchandising, deposits, and store cash procedures.

This role includes opening/closing the store several days a week, training employees, creating planograms, and ensuring safe, efficient operations while maximizing profitability and protecting assets.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to open/close the store and manage cash procedures.

Mansioni

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise including stocking and displays.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and planograms; ensure presentation per standards.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits and cash controls.
