Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Beverly, MA to support store operations and people development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly organized and displayed.

You will supervise and train Store Associates while maintaining a safe, friendly environment and ensuring policy compliance. This is a part-time position with responsibilities including opening/closing, scheduling, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communicate store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and record keeping (payroll/scheduling/cash handling).
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and supervise Store Associates.
