Job summary

Space Needle is hiring a Retail Supervisor to lead frontline retail operations at the Seattle venue. You will set service standards, supervise staff, and manage daily store operations including openings, closings, and coaching.

You will also oversee vending machine systems and Cosmo the Robot Barista, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising and policies. The role requires strong customer service, prior leadership in retail, open availability, and POS experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Leadership experience (PIC, keyholder) preferred in Retail.
• Open availability, including weekends, holidays, swing shifts, and occasional overnights.
• POS experience with the ability to learn and support multiple systems.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Washington State food handlers' card.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set, model, and reinforce world-class customer service standards for all guests.
• Supervise frontline team members, ensuring strong performance in service and task execution.
• Execute daily store operations, including opening/closing, break management, task assignment, team member coaching, and vending machine maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with retail policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards; provide training and coaching as needed.
• Manage sales performance, labor usage, and operational priorities to meet business goals.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to support smooth business operations.
• Lead or support special projects such as Round-Up At The Needle, physical inventory, sales initiatives, events, pop-ups, and process improvements.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot retail systems and vending machines including Cosmo the Robot Barista, POS systems and hardware, coin smashers, bill breaker, collectible medallion machines, Mold-A-Matic.
