Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is hiring an Operations Associate to support store efficiency and guest experience. You will handle shipping and receiving, manage stock, and ensure products are merchandised to planograms for optimal shopping.

You’ll perform cycle counting, signage placement, and inventory controls while working in a fast-paced, loud retail environment. Weekend, holiday, and evening availability is required to serve customers when they shop most.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Able to work weekends, holiday, and evenings.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control tasks.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
