Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Associate to support in-store stock handling, shipping/receiving, and merchandising to enhance the customer experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and initiative to maintain inventory integrity and store presentation.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, signage placement, and shrink control, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work 5–8 hour shifts in a loud retail environment. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Shrink awareness and control.
