Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in California is seeking a part-time HomeGoods Associate to deliver an excellent customer experience at the store level in Redding. You will engage with customers, process purchases, and support merchandising and safety standards.

You will be expected to promote loyalty programs, maintain store presentation, and participate in store recovery and daily housekeeping. A positive attitude and reliable attendance are essential to fit our team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
