Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. HomeGoods is seeking a store associate to deliver a high-quality customer experience while maintaining a clean, organized store environment. You will engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and support operations across the sales floor and back‑of‑house areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a positive store culture. Prior retail experience is helpful and a flexible schedule is required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store.
