Job summary

C.P. Company is seeking a Retail Operation Specialist to oversee and optimize retail activities across Stores and Corners in the US.

You will ensure adherence to standards, monitor performance via KPIs, and support store teams through problem solving and implementation of action plans. The role requires 3+ years in retail operations, fluency in Italian and English, and strong Excel and POS/inventory tool experience.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in Retail Operation.
• Strong knowledge of retail processes, stock management, and store operations.
• Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with POS systems and Inventory Management tools (Cegid preferred).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and tools.
• Draft, update, and maintain operational procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze commercial and operational KPIs to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support forecasting activities through Sell In/Sell Out analysis.
• Prepare operational and seasonal performance reports.
• Ensure accuracy of stock inventories through checks, audits, and analysis.
• Monitor overtime, staffing costs, and operational expenses.
• Act as a connection between local markets and HQ to catch any business opportunity.
• Coordinate operational activities related to new store openings.
• Support all involved departments by managing timelines, operational checklists, and execution plans.
• Ensure operational readiness of new stores before opening.
• Support Store Managers on operational matters and procedures.
• Collaborate in training activities across all departments.
• Foster effective communication between stores and headquarters.

The Retail Operation Specialist, reporting to the Head of Retail, will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing retail operational activities across all direct Stores and Corners. The role directly contributes to operational excellence, stock efficiency, process implementation, and commercial performance, ensuring alignment with the Company’s retail standards and business strategy.

Main Responsibilities

Retail Operation & Store Support

Supervise and support daily retail operational activities across Stores and Corners

Ensure operational standards, procedures, and retail guidelines are consistently applied

Monitor and improve store operational performance through KPI analysis and reporting

Conduct regular store visits to audit operational compliance, stock management, and process execution

Support stores in problem-solving and implementation of operational action plans
