Job summary

The Office Assistant at Helzberg Diamonds retail stores supports daily office operations to help the shop achieve sales volume and profit goals. This role works on transactions, audits, inventory, and policy compliance, while assisting the Office Manager and contributing to store performance.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent, retail or office experience, and comfort selling in a commission environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational abilities are required.
• Ability to sell in a commission environment.
• Experience using a PC or POS system or other computer keyboard is required.
• Previous retail sales or office experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Processing all transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assisting the Office Manager with operational audits and inventory counts.
• Complying with company policies and procedures including loss prevention, operational and human resources.
• Achieving personal sales and extended warranty goals by working on the sales floor.
