Job summary

Titan Security is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at client properties in Illinois. You will provide excellent customer service, control access, and conduct vigilant patrols with incident response as needed.

The role requires bending, lifting, and outdoor work in various weather, along with the ability to read logs and document incidents clearly. This is an entry-to-mid level position offering growth opportunities within Titan Security.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to obtain and maintain an Illinois PERC card.
• Clear pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• English reading/writing/speaking; must understand English.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform foot patrols in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all persons on site.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of people and property including packages.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; document incidents for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary
Join our team as a Security Officer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, controlling access, and ensuring the safety of the premises through vigilant patrols and incident response.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
