Job summary

Titan Security is seeking High Rise Residential Security officers in Chicago to safeguard residents and property. You will provide excellent customer service at the front desk, manage access for tenants, and monitor security systems as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Evening and weekend shifts may be available, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years and legal eligibility to work.
• Experience as door staff or in receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles.
• Comfort around animals.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain Illinois PERC and complete required training.
• Clear pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Physical ability to perform duties (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

High Rise Residential Security officers.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
