Michaels CHI-CHICAGO/BUCKTOWN, IL seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotional execution and a customer-ready store environment by prioritizing workload, overseeing inventory control, and leading a trained team to meet business goals.

This role requires standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds, with nights and weekends

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and coach store teams to meet SOPs and company standards.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain service standards.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Drive in-stock levels through Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movements.
• Execute price changes accurately and on time; maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processing.
