Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering excellent customer experiences. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while maintaining store standards and safety.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and operational execution in a fast-paced retail environment. This full-time position is based at our West Valley City, UT location.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of the entire store.
• Provide positive, safe, and respectful interactions with customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow, stock needs, and monthly planners.
