Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Grandville store in Michigan. The role drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotions.

The position requires strong workload planning, inventory management, and leadership to deliver a customer-ready store environment across backroom and sales floors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and store conditions.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to match business needs.
• Operate Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to maintain in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control and stock movement for accuracy.
• Execute advertising sets with compliant signage and placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across the sales floor.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure efficient packing and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with accuracy and proper adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to strengthen Asset Protection practices.
