Job summary

The Merchandise Manager at Michaels in Olathe, KS drives merchandising and operational execution including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions. They ensure a customer-ready store environment through workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, policy execution, MOD coverage, truck and in-store flow, planogram and visual standards, and thorough inventory control

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution and inventory flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and priorities, align staffing with business needs.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movements.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN receiving.
