Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Graham, NC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional shopping experiences. You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations.

Ideal candidates have retail leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, with a high-energy, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and standing long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect assets, including store cash.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Provide a positive, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Assist with freight flow and merchandise needs.
• Plan and stock merchandise, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Implement monthly Sales Planners.
• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
