The role focuses on day-to-day store activities, asset protection, and ensuring safe, friendly customer experiences.

The successful candidate will have prior retail and management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical duties associated with store operations.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain store areas to company standards
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store
• Ensure a safe, positive environment for customers and staff
• Other duties as assigned
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow according to productivity standards
• Order and stock merchandise including frozen & refrigerated items
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners
