Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager at our Wilmington, NC location. You will assist the Store Manager in leading a team, focusing on merchandising and freight processing to ensure a great shopping experience for our communities.

You will support store operations, uphold policies, and drive sales through effective merchandising, ordering, and stock management while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
