Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Morganton, NC to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering great guest experiences.

You’ll focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations to maximize sales and efficiency. Share your retail and leadership experience to drive friendly customer service, safe operations, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
