Job summary

Homesense, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is hiring at our Westwood, MA location. You will help execute receiving and merchandising standards, assist Associates, and ensure customers have an excellent shopping experience while keeping the store clean and organized.

Responsibilities include stocking, tagging, and prioritizing tasks, training new team members, and upholding safety and loss-prevention standards. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and ability to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capacity to multitask and train others; maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
