Job summary

Homesense at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to support receiving and merchandising standards while delivering excellent customer service in Bedford, NH.

You will help ensure efficient processing of merchandise, maintain organized backrooms, and assist in training teammates to uphold our savings philosophy. The role requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to train others.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates process efficiently.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
• Orchestrates truck deliveries and prioritizes goods to the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains store cleanliness and backroom organization.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth operations.
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
