Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead a high-performing store team. The role focuses on delivering top-line sales growth, inventory accuracy, and an exceptional guest experience while managing shipments, replenishment, omni-channel activities, and pricing/markdowns.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the MM will develop associates through training, feedback, and succession planning, ensuring adherence to policies and standards across all store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-2+ years in fast-paced retail management or related work.
• Experience driving top-line sales and managing payroll budgets.
• Leadership to attract, develop, and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and cost control.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing to maximize productivity.
• Manage shipments, replenishment, omni-channel tasks, pricing updates, and markdowns.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff and leadership.
