Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Loveland, CO is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions.

• Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Strong merchandising and operational execution knowledge.
• Ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, and hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to match business needs.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product presentation to standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control to ensure accuracy and proper stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Perform price changes accurately and on time to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures to reduce shrink and ensure reporting.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skills training.
• Support Asset Protection practices to minimize shrink and promote safe operations.
