Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Burlington, WA store to drive merchandising execution, pricing and promotional accuracy, ensuring a customer-ready environment.

You will lead planograms, inventory controls, and team training while coordinating with store leadership to align staffing and execution with business needs. This role requires strong workload planning and a focus on in-stock optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and accurate sorting.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor.
