Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Batesville, MS. You will join the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, focusing on merchandising and processing freight while maintaining store standards and a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, managing freight, stocking, and planning monthly sales initiatives. Prior retail management experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure that the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clip strips and power panels with sales items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Protect and secure company assets and ensure safety compliance.
