Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Iuka, MS. You will join the Store Manager to lead a team of associates, focus on merchandising and processing freight, and support day-to-day store operations.

You will handle opening/closing, protect assets, maintain cleanliness, stock, and execute directives while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role demands energy, teamwork, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store
• Assist with duties assigned by Store Manager
• Process the receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners
