Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic group of associates, handling merchandising, and processing freight to ensure smooth store operations.

You will assist with store duties, manage freight flow, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment while upholding company policies and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Keep the store clean and presentable.
