Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a energetic store team member in a full-time role at our Madison, WI location. You will assist customers throughout the shopping experience, conduct fast, friendly checkouts, and support store operations including replenishment and merchandising.

You will participate in omnichannel activities like BOPIS/SFS, promote rewards programs, and help maintain a well-stocked, welcoming environment in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; perform cash handling to standards
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollment and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys and omnichannel processes
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Support truck unload, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery
• Maintain in-stock store condition and participate in store recovery and safety programs
