Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking an in-store merchandiser to support retailers and enhance shopper experiences. You will build displays, reset shelves, and monitor inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also assist leadership with reporting, training, scheduling and onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent customer service. Prior merchandising and leadership experience is valuable, but full training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of merchandising experience is preferred.
• Experience leading and training people is a plus.
• Able to move, bend, stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
