Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company in Washington state is seeking an in-store merchandising associate to helpshape the shopper experience. You will support retailers by building displays, resetting shelves, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

No prior experience is required; we provide training and opportunities to grow. You will also assist with reporting, scheduling, onboarding new hires, and collaborate with management to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to work location.
• Willingness to train and lead others.
• Safety-conscious in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
