Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company, an Advantage Solutions company, seeks an in-store merchandiser in Lakewood, WA. You will build displays, set up end caps, rotate stock, and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities across retailer partners.

You will also support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience
• Experience leading and training people
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to work
• Able to use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with action-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and in teams

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
