Job summary

SAS Retail Services is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant to support retailers, build displays and reset shelves while tracking inventory. You will help leadership with reporting, scheduling and onboarding new hires, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Growth opportunities exist within this role at SAS Retail Services.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of merchandising experience or related retail work.
• Ability to lead and train other associates.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years or older and physically able to perform job duties.
• Reliable transportation to the work location and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers' needs.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
