Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant in Michigan. You will build displays, reset shelves, rotate products, and track inventory to maximize sales. You will also support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

No nights, weekends, or holidays required; $15.00 per hour with growth opportunities. Training is provided and additional hours may be available on request.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and train teammates.
• Comfort with inventory tracking and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers' needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
