Job summary

SAS Retail Services, part of Advantage Solutions, is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant to support retailers, build displays, rotate shelves, and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will assist leadership with reporting, scheduling and onboarding new hires, with no nights, weekends or holidays required. Competitive wages and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience preferred; training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers' needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You are 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
