Job summary

Total Wine & More in Baton Rouge is seeking a Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock shelves, and support online and curbside operations. You will greet customers, provide product knowledge, and participate in training to strengthen wine, spirits, and beer expertise.

The role includes occasional delivery duties and upholding safety and store standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years in retail, and familiarity with POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and ensure compliance with alcohol sale regulations.
• Load and deliver orders safely when required and adhere to company policies.
