Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and service multiple bulk accounts. You will merchandise approved products, follow planograms, and communicate with store management and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal displays.

The role involves loading and displaying products, creating shelf materials, and building relationships with store staff.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and work effectively with diverse customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Company provided cell phone will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product and ensures proper vendor operation.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, and handles returns of empty pallets and damaged/outdated product.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and opportunities.
