Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations and maintain multiple accounts with safe handling and adherence to planograms. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working evenings and weekends, and strong communication with store teams.

You will be responsible for rotating stock, setting up displays, and coordinating with vendors to ensure correct merchandising. Training is provided and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with varied customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little supervision.
• Strong critical thinking ability.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves products from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials at display/shelving and rotates products.
• Maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and opportunities.
